Rahoul is a self-taught amateur luthier based in Pune. He started playing the guitar at an early age. As he developed his skills on the guitar, he soon realized that he needed a better instrument. Luthier-made instruments were hard to come by in India and were expensive. His search for a good instrument inspired him to try and make one for himself! He built his first instrument, a classical guitar with a solid rosewood back and sides and an Engelmann spruce top.
He has worked with a variety of woods including but not limited to special African black wood, Engelmann, Sitka and Caucasian spruce as well as with western red cedar and Indian rosewood.
Rahoul has extended his skills and has built acoustic steel string guitars. He has experimented with building an instrument, a guitar with a tone and resonance resembling that of the ancient Indian instrument, the Veena.
Rahoul is extremely passionate about guitar making and is constantly finding newer and better ways to create a unique sound.

Rahoul’s guitar workshop is situated in Nigdi, a quiet suburb of Pune. Along with custom made guitars, the establishment offers services in guitar repair and servicing.
